Starting as a curiosity when I was 16 years old, I have enjoyed the process of learning HTML/CSS/JavaScript. It has lead me to create various websites including my own!
I started a blog when I was in high school about my passion at the time, nail polish! However, I was never satisfied with the free templates that the platform provided. Some quick Google searches later, and I found myself in the code deleting things and adding things I copied from other blogs and articles. It quickly snowballed, and for the next couple days I found myself day and night tinkering away. Most of what I know today is self-taught. My most recent project has been this website and I have had so much fun getting back into web development.

Key Takeaways:
It's like riding a bike. After not working with HTML/CSS for so long, it felt unfamiliar at first, but it was easy to pick up again. This website has taken me much longer than I'd like to admit, but has been so rewarding. I'm over the moon with the final product and am so proud to have said I coded my website 100% from scratch. There is something so fulfilling about designing exactly what you want and being able to bring that vision to life.
