It’s that one thing that I keep going back to. No matter how long it’s been and how many breaks I take, The Sims will be a constant in my life. It’s a game that I discovered when I was 10 and it’s an outlet to express my creativity and design essentially anything I want.
I suppose it all started with my architect dad and the time he brought home a model of a building his company was working on. I would stare at it for hours, mesmerized by the tiny trees, the model people, and the intricateness of the building. At the same time, I would ‘borrow’ my sister’s math graphing paper and draw house plans for fun. When I stumbled upon The Sims, I would spend hours building and designing, sometimes even forgetting to eat.
